I can’t stop raving about Toronto’s Consonant HydrExtreme! Seriously, people–this product is worth the hype (and the steep $150 price for 30mL).
As I’ve become more and strict with my list of ingredient no-nos, I’ve developed a love for simplicity. Quite a few of the products I’ve been using and loving these days have one or two ingredients, tops. Like these…
Happy Easter weekend, everyone!
It’s so nice to finally have some sunshine here on the west coast. It’s about time! I feel like I’m slowing coming out of my winter hibernation. And what better way to celebrate the beginning of springtime than with some lovely organic treats (…for your body, that is). Recently, Drifter Organics kindly sent me some of their all-natural body butters to try out. So without further ado, here’s all about Drifter Organics!
I’ll be honest: transitioning to natural deodorant is not something I’ve been looking forward to. Generally, deodorant is one of those products that just isn’t as effective in natural form. Oh, don’t get me wrong, I’ve tried plenty of natural deodorants over the years (and I’ve even written about them before). I just hadn’t found one that I really, really liked.
Great natural fragrances are notoriously difficult to find! What makes it so challenging to find a quality natural perfume is the fact that companies don’t disclose all of the ingredients in their products, considering them “trade secrets.” I personally find it crazy that companies are allowed to get away with this, and it also makes it incredibly difficult to determine if a fragrance is safe or not. Generally, I just back away and end up buying nothing.
Thankfully, Saje Natural Wellness lists its ingredients, and uses pure, natural essential oils. I recently stopped in at Saje and picked up a sample pack of their rollerball perfumes (pictured above). Isn’t it a cute case that they come in? The perfumes are absolutely lovely! The scents are bright but subtle, and wonderfully complex. So far, my favourites are Yoga and Goddess.
